Trip to Dollywood

We headed to Dollywood with Mark, Brenda, Parker and Macy yesterday and we had a GREAT time!! We really missed you being there with us Daddy! We can't wait to go back with you. Jackson had so much fun! We only had one obstacle with Jackson and it was right before we left. Parker was riding his last ride and Jackson was cruising around the benches, grabbed on to the big barrel(trashcan) and it had metal strips around the barrel. It took us a while to figure out what happened. He started screaming and his legs started shaking. It scared me so bad. He touched the metal part and it was REALLLLLY hot. Here are a few pictures of the fun we had....
Jackson's first ride...the tea cups
Jackson wasn't sure about the elephants at first. However, mommy decided this would be her last ride. I did not feel so well after this one. It could have had something to do with how hungry I was.

The gang watching the bald eagle show.

Jackson had the most fun here. Mr. Mark and Parker rode the water ride while Jackson discovered he could get wet. I finally broke down and let him get in dodge of being shot with water. Once he discovered he could do this, I could not keep him away. I put him in front of the fence where he could not get wet and he cruised on around until he was in dodge again. It was so funny. We had the best time watching him do this.

Jackson, Parker, and Macy getting ready to ride the cars. They all had so much fun.

Jackson drove his first car around the track. He loved it and Mommy felt safe with Jackson driving. :-)

Jackson enjoys his first icy. They only had one size. Jackson drank so much!! He thought it was funny that he had such a big cup. I decided to teach Jackson Wednesday how to drink out of a straw. It was the easiest teaching session ever. I gave him a drink of my water and he pulled the water right out of the straw. I was impressed considering it was his first time drinking out of a straw.

Jackson loved riding the ducks. Macy and Jackson were able to ride them by themselves.

Jackson wasn't so sure about the bees. He did not like them. I think it had something to do with us putting him on the inside of this one and seeing the legs sticking out. He rode the duck and the pig with no problem by himself, but Macy was on the inside.

Cute picture of Parker and Jackson

We miss you so much Daddy! We can't wait to pick you up from the airport!
