Christmas Morning!

"It's the most wonderful time of the year" has so much more meaning to me this year. Jackson and Savannah are our little blessings and bless us more and more each day. Jackson really got into Christmas this year and made it that much more special to us. Obviously, Savannah had no idea what was going on, but to see her face Christmas morning brought so much joy to us! Santa did us a big favor and put their toys out in the playroom this year and closed the door. We are having a little trouble keeping Jackson from getting up in the middle of the night. We certainly did not want Jackson to find all of his awesome toys before morning! Thank goodness Santa helped us because just as we thought, Jackson came walking into our bedroom in the middle of the night.

Jackson walks in and was so excited to see all that Santa brought! First he said "Ooo, Thomas!! Then he notices his buzz lightyear and and had even more excitement in his voice as he runs for it.

I love how Savannah walks in with Daddy and immediately crawls to her ride on toy. How did she know that was hers? :-)

He helped Savannah get her goodies out of her stocking, too! He is such a good big brother when he wants to be. :-)

AND Jackson's absolute FAVORITE gift was the gift that he gave to Daddy. I love the expression on both of their faces! A REAL DRUM SET!!! Jason and Jackson both have been wanting drums, so....

Mommy bought a small drum set for them to play together. Daddy is still wondering how this is a gift for him. He really wants the real deal!! Sorry Daddy, but the big set will have to wait until we get our house built! Regardless, Daddy has enjoyed these drums, too! :-) What a great Christmas we had!! Jason and I enjoyed Christmas together the night before after we put the kids together so that we could focus on the kids Christmas morning and I'm so glad we did. It was perfect!! We hope that you all had a Merry Christmas as well!!
