This time last year.....

It's hard to believe 1 year ago, Mommy went for her 36 week check to find out she was only a fingertip dilated, not even a centimeter. Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a mexican dinner. That night when she went to bed, Mommy felt like she was having possible braxton hicks. However, at 11:30pm that night mommy woke up feeling like she had to go potty, but there was nothing. She got up 2 more times to potty before she realized it was contractions. Mommy did not wake Daddy becasue she did not think it was true contractions, so she walked around for a little while and got back in bed. As soon as she layed down, she felt something pop. She got up to go to the bathroom, still unsure what was going on. This is when the water started flowing down her leg. Mommy screams "Oh my gosh". Daddy jumps up saying "What?". Mommy says, my water just broke. This was 12:30am. We were in shock and still had not planned on going to the hospital. We had just gone to the birthing class a week prior, and they said if you go in labor in the middle of the night, try to go back to sleep. They said you will be in labor for an awhile and there was no need to go lay in a hospital bed when you could try to rest in your own. Daddy starts reading one of Mommy's pregnancy books and Daddy says "You need to call the doctor". I called the doctor and the doctor on call happen to be the one who just checked me that day. She did not believe me. She said "Are you sure your water broke". Mommy said ABSOLUTLEY! They is no mistaking it. Mommy and Daddy threw a bag together becasue Mommy only had Jackson's bag packed and out the door we went. Mommy was so embarrassed to walk into the hospital becasue my pants were soaking wet. Daddy said "You're in labor!" Mommy and Daddy could not believe they were about to meet Jackson for the first time. What a joy you were about to bring to our lives!
