Cookies with Santa

We had our first Annual Cookies with Santa at the Subers this year. It started off a little rocky with everyone trying to get pictures of the kids with Santa at once, but ended up being a blast! Next year, we will try doing pictures at different times to make it a little easier. It was so much fun watching the kids expressions as the man in the big red suit walked in! Santa came to visit with the kids, read them a book, and brought each of them a gift. I was so concerned that Jackson would not have anything to do with Santa. He was very clingy and cried saying he did not want to see Santa. He would not get close to him at all. However, he really surprised me once I put Jackson on Santa's lap. He gave Santa a big hug and sat on his lap for a while and as he opened his present from Santa. After everyone had a chance to take pictures with Santa and open their gifts, Jackson and three of his other friends sat in the floor and played with Santa. It was a moment I will always remember and cherish.

Jackson was super excited about his remote control Percy from Santa! Santa brought Savannah a Peek a Boo Christmas book. It was perfect for her because Peek a Boo is one of her favorite games to play right now.
Savannah LOVED Santa! She got kisses and played with his beard.
She was also carrying on a conversation with him...Who knows what she was telling him? :-)
